About The Opportunity

OKX is building out its equities and tokenized securities business. This is a post-trade and brokerage systems product role — you will own the layer that sits between our users and the securities markets: order management, execution, settlement, asset servicing and reconciliation.
We have strong crypto product and engineering talent. What this role brings is depth in brokerage architecture and securities market structure: how these systems are built, why they are built that way, and what breaks at scale. You will be the internal authority on that, and your judgment will shape decisions that are expensive to reverse.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the brokerage core — order management, execution and routing, instrument lifecycle and trading status, settlement and reconciliation.
  • Shape account, custody and clearing architecture, along with the operating model required to run it.
  • Own corporate actions and asset servicing end to end, in both conventional and on-chain form.
  • Define how securities risk and margin frameworks coexist with those of a 24/7 digital asset market.
  • Bring market structure, execution quality and regulatory requirements into product decisions early, before they become blockers.
  • Set the standard for rigour — write PRDs precise enough to build from, and lead alignment across engineering, risk, legal, compliance and treasury.

What We Look For In You

Domain Depth
  • 5+ years in post-trade or brokerage systems product management. We strongly prefer candidates from internet and licensed brokerages — Futu, Tiger, Interactive Brokers, Robinhood, Webull, Longbridge — as well as clearing firms and brokerage infrastructure providers.
  • Architectural perspective. You have a clear view of where responsibility belongs across the order, execution, clearing, settlement, asset servicing and ledger layers, and of what goes wrong downstream when a boundary is drawn in the wrong place.
  • Depth across the order and execution path. Order types and parameters, state machine design, idempotency across an external execution boundary, cancel/replace and partial-fill semantics, timeout and exception recovery. This is the core craft of the role.
  • End-to-end ownership of at least one area beyond the order path — clearing and settlement, corporate actions and asset servicing, margin and risk, securities lending, or position and cash reconciliation.
  • Commercial and historical perspective. You understand how a brokerage actually earns, how each revenue line constrains the systems beneath it, and why the industry made the structural choices it did.
Ways of Working
  • Strong technical intuition. You are comfortable discussing system architecture and data flows with engineers. You do not need to be a developer, but you think with the rigour of one.
  • You design for the exceptions — the halted symbol, the timed-out counterparty, the partial fill, the corporate action mid-flight — not just the order that goes through.
  • You run programs, not just write specs. You produce rigorous PRDs independently, drive alignment across engineering, risk, legal, compliance and treasury, and own the full lifecycle from requirements through post-launch review.
  • You write precisely, and can make complex mechanics legible to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • High agency. You are comfortable taking an open question all the way to a shipped, reconciled system, and making calls with incomplete information.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with internal engineering and product stakeholders in the China-based R&D center.

Nice-To-Haves

  • Product experience with margin financing or securities lending.
  • Exposure to tokenized securities, digital asset custody, or on-chain settlement.
  • Experience integrating with broker-dealer or clearing APIs, as either the integrator or the provider.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-jurisdiction regulatory frameworks — SEC/FINRA, MiFID II, or equivalent.
  • A track record of launching a brokerage product in a new market from zero.
  • Fluency in English to support communication with global product and business stakeholders.
  • Genuine curiosity about what happens when securities markets meet 24/7 markets.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation package
  • L&D programs and education subsidy for employees' growth and development
  • Various team building programs and company events
  • Wellness and meal allowances
  • Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
  • More that we love to tell you along the process!

🚨𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: OKX launches 24/7 tokenized stock trading and pre-IPO access to companies in Europe.

OKX has announced the launch of a new platform feature enabling 24/7 tokenized stock trading and access to pre-IPO investment opportunities. This development represents a significant shift in market accessibility, allowing retail and institutional participants to engage with traditional equity markets outside of standard exchange hours. By leveraging blockchain technology to tokenize shares, the platform aims to reduce settlement times and increase liquidity for assets that were previously restricted by traditional market infrastructure. The integration of pre-IPO assets into a tokenized framework provides investors with earlier exposure to private companies before they reach public markets. This move highlights the growing trend of bridging decentralized finance with traditional equity instruments to enhance capital efficiency. As major exchanges continue to adopt tokenization, the barrier between legacy financial systems and blockchain-based trading continues to diminish. The initiative underscores the broader industry push toward continuous, globalized market access for diverse asset classes.

Pre-IPO markets and tokenized stocks are live in Europe

OKX has launched a suite of tokenized stocks and pre-IPO markets for European traders, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional equities and digital asset infrastructure. The platform now offers 100 tokenized stocks, including major entities like SpaceX, Google, and NVIDIA, alongside Pre-IPO X-Perps for high-profile companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic. By enabling 24/7 trading and cross-collateralization, OKX allows users to manage traditional equity positions alongside crypto assets within a single, regulated account. This development is significant for the RWA market as it demonstrates the integration of private equity exposure and traditional stock tracking into a unified blockchain-based interface. European users, previously restricted from accessing these specific pre-IPO derivatives, can now utilize regulated venues to gain exposure to private company valuations. The initiative leverages the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) regulatory framework to provide a compliant environment for these financial instruments. Ultimately, this move signals a shift toward unified portfolio management where tokenized real-world assets function seamlessly with existing digital asset trading strategies.

OKX to list Unified Tokenized Stocks xSHEIN, xKORU and more for spot trading

OKX has launched Unified Tokenized Stocks, a new product offering users 24/7 spot trading exposure to traditional equities and ETFs. These assets, identified by an 'X' prefix such as XAAPL or XTSLA, are powered by the xStocks framework developed by Payward. The platform consolidates tokenized versions of the same underlying stock from multiple providers into a single order book to improve liquidity. Trading occurs against USDT pairs, allowing users to utilize existing crypto strategy bots like Grid and DCA for automated equity exposure. While these tokens provide price tracking and automatic dividend reinvestment, they do not confer actual shareholder rights or ownership of the underlying companies. The assets are supported on both the Solana and X Layer blockchains, enabling deposits and withdrawals outside of traditional market hours. This development marks a significant expansion in the accessibility of traditional financial instruments within the crypto ecosystem, though it remains restricted for U.S. persons.
