About the role (from employer)

About Chainlink
Chainlink is the industry-standard oracle platform bringing the capital markets onchain and powering the majority of decentralized finance (DeFi). The Chainlink stack provides the essential data, interoperability, compliance, and privacy standards needed to power advanced blockchain use cases for institutional tokenized assets, lending, payments, stablecoins, and more. Since inventing decentralized oracle networks, Chainlink has enabled tens of trillions in transaction value and now secures the vast majority of DeFi.

Many of the world’s largest financial services institutions have also adopted Chainlink’s standards and infrastructure, including Swift, Euroclear, Mastercard, Fidelity International, UBS, S&P Dow Jones Indices, FTSE Russell, WisdomTree, ANZ, and top protocols such as Aave, Lido, GMX and many others. Chainlink leverages a novel fee model where offchain and onchain revenue from enterprise adoption is converted to LINK tokens and stored in a strategic Chainlink Reserve. Learn more at chain.link.

Apple, Nvidia and Tesla Tokenized Stocks Can Now Back USDC Loans on Aave

Coinbase has integrated seven of its tokenized U.S. stock products as collateral assets on the Aave V4 lending protocol deployed on the Base blockchain. Eligible non-U.S. users can now leverage tokenized shares of Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, Amazon, Google, Meta, and Microsoft to borrow USDC. This integration utilizes Chainlink's oracle infrastructure to provide real-time market data feeds directly from Coinbase, ensuring accurate collateral valuation. By enabling these traditional equities to function as collateral within a decentralized finance environment, the move bridges the gap between legacy stock markets and on-chain liquidity. The assets are currently restricted to collateral use only, meaning they cannot be borrowed by users at this time. This development marks a significant expansion in the utility of tokenized securities, allowing investors to maintain exposure to major tech stocks while accessing decentralized credit markets. The deployment on Base highlights the growing trend of institutional-grade assets migrating to high-performance layer-2 networks to enhance capital efficiency.

AAVE Price Surges 16% as Tokenized Stocks Enter DeFi — Can AAVE Break $200?

Aave has launched its Equities Hub on the Base blockchain, enabling eligible non-U.S. users to utilize seven Coinbase-issued tokenized U.S. stocks as collateral for USDC loans. The initial asset lineup includes major equities such as Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Tesla, with Chainlink providing the necessary on-chain pricing infrastructure. This integration marks a significant expansion of Aave's lending utility by allowing investors to access liquidity without liquidating their equity positions. The rollout is restricted to non-U.S. jurisdictions under Regulation S, reflecting the protocol's focus on compliant international growth. Simultaneously, the Aave community is discussing a potential shift in tokenomics, specifically a transition from a buyback program to a permanent token burn mechanism. These developments have contributed to a 16% surge in AAVE's price, signaling strong market interest in the convergence of traditional equity markets and decentralized finance. The combination of new collateral types and potential deflationary token mechanics provides a dual catalyst for the protocol's long-term value capture. This move underscores the broader trend of integrating real-world financial assets into DeFi protocols to enhance capital efficiency.

Best RWA Crypto Projects in 2026: Top Real-World Asset Tokens

The real-world asset (RWA) sector is experiencing significant growth as traditional financial instruments like gold, bonds, real estate, and business loans are increasingly represented on-chain. Projects such as Chainlink, Ondo, Centrifuge, Plume, Stellar, and Algorand are identified as key players providing the necessary infrastructure for data, credit, and bond tokenization. By utilizing blockchain technology, these platforms aim to improve market efficiency through fractional ownership, 24/7 liquidity, and faster settlement times compared to legacy financial systems. The integration of oracles like Chainlink is highlighted as essential for maintaining price accuracy for tokenized assets. While the sector offers increased accessibility and transparency, it also faces challenges regarding regulatory compliance and liquidity risks associated with the underlying assets. As institutional interest grows, the market is shifting toward more compliant, utility-driven models that bridge traditional finance with decentralized protocols. This evolution suggests that RWA tokenization is becoming a foundational element of the future financial landscape, moving beyond simple speculation toward practical, real-world application.
