BNK Investment & Securities expands tokenized securities push with EverTreasure
BNK Investment & Securities has entered a strategic partnership with fintech firm EverTreasure to develop and distribute tokenized securities backed by cultural assets including films, musicals, and artworks. Under the memorandum of understanding, BNK will manage the issuance, distribution, and regulatory compliance, while EverTreasure will focus on asset sourcing and blockchain platform integration. This collaboration aims to prepare both firms for South Korea's formal tokenized securities market, which is scheduled to launch in February 2027. The initiative leverages EverTreasure’s existing YEATU platform, which has already facilitated over 260 million won in cultural investments. By integrating these assets into a regulated financial framework, the companies intend to provide institutional and high-net-worth clients with new investment opportunities. This move aligns with broader industry efforts in South Korea, where major brokerages are actively building infrastructure to comply with the amended Electronic Securities Act and Capital Markets Act. The partnership represents a significant step in bridging intellectual property with institutional-grade financial products ahead of the upcoming regulatory rollout.
