About the role (from employer)

Who We Are

At OKX, we believe that the future will be reshaped by crypto, and ultimately contribute to every individual's freedom. OKX is a leading crypto exchange, and the developer of OKX Wallet, giving millions access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications (dApps). OKX is also a trusted brand by hundreds of large institutions seeking access to crypto markets. We are safe and reliable, backed by our Proof of Reserves. Across our multiple offices globally, we are united by our core principles: We Before Me, Do the Right Thing, and Get Things Done. These shared values drive our culture, shape our processes, and foster a friendly, rewarding, and diverse environment for every OK-er.

About The Opportunity

Core product role within the Advanced Trading PM team. Own advanced trading product lines and trading features for our onshore compliant markets(EEA,US,SG,UAE and etc) — from strategy and PRD to launch and iteration — while keeping our product mechanics competitive with leading CEXs.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Product Ownership:
    • Own the roadmap and delivery for assigned advanced trading product areas: account/margin model, order lifecycle, position management, market data surfaces, and trading UI on Web and App.
    • Write clear PRDs and user stories; drive designs through review, UAT, launch, and post-launch iteration.
    • Define success metrics and run continuous improvement loops on trading experience, liquidity quality, and risk outcomes.
  • Competitive & Market Insight:
    • Continuously benchmark against leading CEXs (Binance, Bybit, Coinbase, Kraken, Bitget, etc.) — deconstruct product mechanisms, fee/liquidity models, UX, and new launches.
    • Track TradFi derivatives and onshore compliant-market developments; surface actionable opportunities.
  • Trading Experience:
    • Improve speed-to-trade, order tickets, Kline/charting, and active-trader retention features on Web and App.
    • Partner with design and engineering to ship polished, high-performance trading surfaces.
  • Liquidity, Execution & Risk:
    • Contribute to liquidity parameters, fee tier design, and execution-quality tracking (spread, depth, slippage, fill-rate) under senior guidance.
    • Support risk framework work: price limits, funding rate, index/mark price logic, leverage & position tiers — translating requirements into product specs.
  • Compliant-Market Delivery:
    • Work with compliance, legal, and local entity leads to deliver product changes for licensed jurisdictions (SG, EU/MiCA, HK, US, BR, AU, UAE).
    • Translate regulatory requirements into product specs without over-degrading UX.
  • Cross-Functional Execution:
    • Partner day-to-day with engineering, quant/risk, design, ops, BD, and institutional client teams.
    • Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to the team lead and stakeholders.

What We Look For In You

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years on crypto trading products (derivatives strongly preferred).
  • Solid working knowledge of CEX product mechanisms: perpetuals/futures/options, margin models, funding rates, index/mark price, liquidation, order types, market microstructure
  • Hands-on experience shipping trading features on Web and/or App at a top-tier CEX or comparable trading platform.
  • Basic understanding of exchange liquidity economics and risk frameworks (maker/taker fees, position tiers, leverage curves).
  • Strong written PRDs, structured thinking, and cross-functional execution.
  • Fluent English; Mandarin a plus.

Nice to Haves

  • Direct competitor experience at a leading CEX.
  • Familiarity with at least one onshore compliant market (EEA, US, SG, AU, UAE, TR, BR).
  • Prior experience at a traditional brokerage / TradFi exchange (e.g., IBKR, Futu, Tiger, Robinhood, CME, HKEX, SGX) — especially derivatives, margin, or trading UX.
  • Familiarity with smart contracts, token economics, or tokenized RWAs.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation package
  • L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
  • Various team building programs and company events
  • Wellness and meal allowances
  • Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
  • More that we love to tell you along the process!

Nebius Stock: A Tokenized-Trading Fight, a Trimmed Citi Target, and the Delivery Clock That Actually - ad-hoc

Nebius, an Amsterdam-listed AI infrastructure firm, has formally joined a coalition of 62 companies opposing a proposed tokenized trading initiative for their shares on the OKX-ICE platform. The initiative, unveiled on October 5, seeks to utilize a five-year SEC 'Innovation Exemption' to facilitate equity trading via automated market makers and liquidity pools. Nebius and other firms, including Boeing and ServiceNow, are challenging the underlying trading architecture and the regulatory carve-out that permits such settlement mechanisms. This dispute highlights a growing friction between traditional corporate issuers and emerging blockchain-based trading venues attempting to bypass conventional settlement systems. While the tokenization controversy captures headlines, Nebius is simultaneously navigating a valuation reset following a Citigroup price target reduction from $324 to $265. Furthermore, the company faces operational scrutiny regarding potential delivery delays on data-center projects tied to Microsoft contracts. These developments underscore the complex intersection of AI infrastructure financing, equity valuation, and the evolving regulatory landscape for tokenized securities.

Apple, Home Depot and GE Vernova Object to ICE-OKX Tokenized Stock Venue as Count Hits 59

Apple, The Home Depot, and GE Vernova have formally objected to the listing of tokenized versions of their shares on the OKXICE TSV, an on-chain stock venue operated as a joint venture between Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and OKX. These additions bring the total number of objecting issuers to 59, reflecting a growing trend of major corporations resisting the unauthorized tokenization of their equity. The venue, which operates under an SEC exemption for tokenized securities, allows for both issuer-led and third-party tokenization, but issuer objections effectively block third-party tokens from being traded on the platform. Despite the venue's plans to utilize permissioned Uniswap v4 pools on the XLayer blockchain, the project faces significant skepticism from industry experts regarding its value proposition. The platform has not set a launch date and remains unregistered with the SEC, raising questions about its long-term viability and regulatory standing. This ongoing friction highlights the tension between traditional equity issuers and the emerging RWA sector regarding control over digital representations of corporate assets. The lack of clear communication from the venue regarding the purpose of these tokens further complicates the adoption landscape for on-chain stock trading.

OKX Launches ‘Simple Options’ Based on Tokenized Stocks, With 24/7 Trading

Global cryptocurrency exchange OKX has launched a new "Simple Options" service, enabling users to trade options based on tokenized stocks. Introduced on November 4, the service initially supports four prominent tokenized equities: Google, Nvidia, SpaceX, and Micron Technology. This offering allows for both buying and selling of call and put options, providing a more sophisticated financial instrument for real-world assets. The service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring continuous market access. OKX has implemented an all-in pricing model, meaning no separate trading fees are charged, and the minimum trade size is set at one share of the underlying asset. This development is significant for the RWA market as it expands the utility of tokenized assets beyond spot trading into derivatives, potentially attracting a broader range of investors seeking exposure to traditional equities through a blockchain-native framework and enhancing liquidity and accessibility for these assets.
