About the role (from employer)

At Anchorage Digital, we are building the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto.

Anchorage Digital is a crypto platform that enables institutions to participate in digital assets through custody, staking, trading, governance, settlement, and the industry's leading security infrastructure. Home to Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., the first federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S., Anchorage Digital also serves institutions through Anchorage Digital Singapore, Porto by Anchorage Digital, and other offerings.

The company is funded by leading institutions including Andreessen Horowitz, GIC, Goldman Sachs, KKR, and Visa, with its Series D valuation over $3 billion. Founded in 2017 in San Francisco, California, Anchorage Digital has offices in New York, New York; Porto, Portugal; Singapore; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. With the evolving landscape of digital threats and an increasing volume of sophisticated attacks by malicious actors, we have a security policy mandating all new hires complete an in-person onboarding process - no exceptions. Security is our foundation and we prioritize physical identity verification and secure IT setup. While our security and IT logistics require physical presence to protect our infrastructure from sophisticated global threats, this move is equally about our Village culture. We believe that a laptop can be shipped, but our culture cannot.

Anchorage Digital is seeking a Product Manager to help build the leading RWA tokenization hub on Anchorage's core platform. Reporting to the Head of Tokenization, this role sits at the intersection of regulated capital markets and on-chain infrastructure: partnering directly with the business lead on product design, owning the technical roadmap with engineering, and shaping both the investor and the issuer experience across money market funds, tokenized MMFs, broker-dealer activity, transfer agency, fixed income, and equities.

You’ll partner with the Head of Tokenization to co-own product design and the end-to-end technical roadmap for Anchorage’s RWA tokenization hub, turning business strategy and client demand into prioritized product bets. You’ll design both sides of the platform: how issuers onboard, structure, mint, and service tokenized assets, and how institutional investors discover, allocate to, settle, and report on them. Your work will span money market funds (including tokenized MMFs), broker-dealer activity, transfer agency, fixed income, and equities, with a focus on building reusable foundations that work across asset classes instead of one-off integrations. You’ll work closely with engineering to scope problems and build solutions together, translating between technical, business, and regulatory concepts. You’ll also meet directly with issuers and investors to understand their needs and test product direction, and you’ll join the commercial team on live deals as the product expert who can go deep on both regulatory structure and on-chain mechanics.

This role will accelerate the candidate into a leading product voice at the intersection of banking, capital markets, and tokenization.

Below, we define our Factors of Growth & Impact to help Anchorage Villagers to better measure impact and articulate coaching, feedback, and the rich and rewarding learning that happens while exploring, developing, and mastering the capabilities and contributions within and outside of the Member of Product, Tokenization role:

Technical Skills:

  • Define tokenization product strategy, primitives, and roadmap across issuance, lifecycle management, custody, settlement, reporting, and investor/issuer workflows.
  • Translate complex regulatory, capital markets, and blockchain constraints into clear product requirements.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

  • Lead product delivery across a multi-asset-class roadmap (MMFs, commodities, fixed income, equities, etc) in a highly regulated environment.
  • Drive outcomes that scale issuer onboarding, deepen the investor experience, and build reusable primitives rather than bespoke integrations.

Organizational Knowledge:

  • Navigate OCC/banking-grade governance, controls, and risk management expectations.
  • Build operating rhythms with engineering, legal, compliance, and client-facing teams that keep delivery moving without compromising controls.

Communication and Influence:

  • Translate fluently between business and engineering audiences in both directions.
  • Influence senior stakeholders (issuers, investors, internal leadership) through crisp narratives and tradeoff framing
  • Credibly represent the product in front of institutional issuers and investors; convert what you hear in those rooms into roadmap signal.

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

  • A track record owning a technical product roadmap end-to-end in regulated financial services (capital markets, payments, asset management, or banking).
  • A deep working knowledge of blockchain infrastructure and institutional digital asset products
  • Demonstrated ability to translate between technical and business audiences, not just document the hand-off, but make both sides sharper.
  • Experience shipping platform products with meaningful partner, regulatory, and engineering dependencies.
  • Comfort and appetite for client-facing work, meeting with institutional prospects and clients to discover needs, demo product direction, and influence commercial outcomes.
  • Bias for ownership and execution in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • At least two of the following three: (a) direct experience with tokenization, tokenized MMFs, transfer agency, broker-dealer tech, or securities issuance platforms; (b) prior work at a regulated financial institution, trust company, or capital markets infrastructure firm; or (c) prior experience in a product role that was explicitly commercial-adjacent (solutions, pre-sales, or client-facing PM).

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

  • You have product design judgment across two-sided experiences (investor-facing and issuer-facing).
  • Claude or other AI tools have become part of your core tools for work.
  • You have strong opinions on how capital markets will move on-chain.
  • You have navigated a regulator directly on a product launch.

Hong Kong Regulators Advance Stablecoin and Tokenized Gold Plans

Anchorage Digital has integrated the Frgmnt protocol to facilitate the custody, minting, and staking of fUSD and sfUSD for institutional clients. Simultaneously, Uniswap Labs reported processing $43.4 billion in stablecoin swaps during the second quarter of 2026, supported by the launch of the StablePair Hook on Ethereum. The protocol HyENA reached a cumulative volume of $4 billion, while Antalpha’s facilitated loan book experienced a decline in total value locked to $1.353 billion. Legislative discussions regarding the CLARITY Act remain ongoing, with concerns raised about the potential impact of rushing stablecoin-related regulatory frameworks. These developments highlight the ongoing institutionalization of stablecoin infrastructure and the evolving landscape of digital asset lending. The integration of specialized hooks and custody solutions underscores a broader trend toward enhancing capital efficiency and operational security within decentralized finance markets.

Anchorage expands institutional custody to Etherlink, tokenized uranium

Anchorage Digital Bank, the first federally chartered crypto bank in the United States, has expanded its institutional custody services to include assets on the Etherlink network. This integration covers seven specific assets, most notably xU3O8, a tokenized representation of physical uranium. By leveraging the Tezos-based layer-2 network, Anchorage enables institutional clients to gain exposure to uranium without the logistical burdens of physical storage or traditional commodity intermediaries. The move highlights a growing institutional appetite for tokenized commodities, which can now be settled in minutes rather than the weeks typically required by legacy systems. With a market capitalization exceeding $9 million, xU3O8 represents a niche but significant shift toward on-chain commodity management. This development follows a similar integration by Hex Trust in August 2025, signaling increased infrastructure support for tokenized real-world assets. Ultimately, the partnership bridges the gap between regulated banking custody and the efficiency of blockchain-based commodity trading.

Anchorage Digital Adds Custody for Tokenized Mexican Sovereign Debt

Anchorage Digital Adds Custody for Tokenized Mexican Sovereign Debt

Anchorage Digital has expanded its institutional custody services to include tokenized Mexican sovereign debt, known as CETES, through a partnership with the platform Etherfuse. The initiative utilizes the Stellar blockchain as the settlement layer to facilitate the onchain transfer of these short-term government instruments. By integrating a regulated custodian with a national bank charter, the collaboration aims to lower the operational friction typically associated with cross-border holdings of emerging market debt. This three-party architecture—comprising issuance, network, and custody—reflects a growing industry standard for institutional-grade real-world asset tokenization. The move is part of a broader strategic focus by Anchorage Digital to capture the Latin American market, following previous engagements in the region. While tokenization improves accessibility, the underlying asset remains subject to Mexican peso currency risk and complex multi-jurisdictional regulatory frameworks. Ultimately, the success of this project will depend on whether institutional demand for emerging market exposure justifies the compliance overhead required to maintain such a specialized custody stack.
