About the role (from employer)

About the Role

Crypto.com is looking for a Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen our U.S. consumer compliance program and exchange operations. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role built for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and brings deep experience in consumer protection laws, Regulation E, and UDAAP compliance. While supporting broader regulatory initiatives and BSA/AML program alignment, your primary focus will be designing, auditing, and executing consumer compliance controls across our product offerings (including credit, prepaid, and digital asset transactions).

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the U.S. Consumer Compliance framework, serving as the subject matter expert on Reg E (EFTs, error resolution, unauthorized transfers, chargebacks, notice disclosures) and UDAAP risk mitigation across all products.
  • Conduct ongoing compliance reviews of consumer-facing flows, terms of service, disclosures, promotional materials, and product features to identify and prevent potential UDAAP issues.
  • Oversee and enhance Reg E error resolution timelines, root-cause analysis for consumer complaints, and chargeback compliance mechanisms.
  • Lead preparations for consumer compliance examinations and audits; manage project plans, scoping, timelines, and deliverables for regulatory remediation efforts.
  • Own, update, and operationalize consumer compliance policies, ensuring alignment with evolving federal (CFPB, FTC, OCC/FDIC standards) and state regulations.
  • Partner with product, operations, legal, and customer support teams to integrate consumer protection controls into product rollouts and customer communication (RFI) workflows.
  • Provide secondary support for broader compliance program initiatives, including BSA/AML policy alignment, executive committee reporting, and ad hoc regulatory submissions.
    • Perform ad hoc special projects as required

Requirements

    • 3+ years of compliance experience in a financial services, fintech, or banking environment
    • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Reg E (electronic fund transfers, error resolution procedures, prepaid card rules, and credit card compliance) and UDAAP risk frameworks.
    • Direct experience managing consumer complaint trends, conducting UDAAP risk assessments, and refining consumer-facing operational processes.
    • Proven track record supporting regulatory examinations, internal audits, and executing formal regulatory remediation plans.
    • Working knowledge of broader financial regulatory frameworks, including BSA/AML and state-level consumer protection statutes.
    • Experience collaborating with product, customer operations, and engineering teams to implement regulatory requirements into workflows.
    • Comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-paced environment where procedures may need to be built from scratch.
    • Familiarity with banking regulators and examination processes is a plus

OG.com cleared by SEC to offer single

The North American Derivatives Exchange, operating as OG.com and affiliated with Crypto.com, has received authorization from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to offer single-stock futures in the United States. By filing Form 1-N, the platform secured status as a national securities exchange, marking a significant regulatory milestone for bridging traditional capital markets with digital asset innovation. CEO Kris Marszalek confirmed that the exchange is coordinating with both the SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to facilitate these offerings. This development allows the platform to list single-stock perpetual futures, providing U.S. users with new avenues for equity-based derivatives trading. The move reflects a broader industry trend of crypto-native firms integrating regulated financial products into their ecosystems. Similar initiatives have been observed elsewhere, such as Kraken's partnership with the London Stock Exchange for tokenized UK stocks and Coinbase's expansion into stock perpetual futures. This regulatory clearance underscores the increasing convergence between institutional-grade derivatives and digital asset infrastructure.

DeFi & L1L2 — 🚀 Crypto.com launched Tokenized Stocks; Toyota Finance launched a ¥1 billion tokenized bond

Crypto.com has officially launched a new offering for tokenized stocks, marking a significant expansion of its platform's asset capabilities. Simultaneously, Toyota Finance has entered the RWA space by issuing a ¥1 billion tokenized bond, highlighting the growing institutional interest in blockchain-based debt instruments. These developments occur against a backdrop of broader market growth, with total cryptocurrency ownership reaching 774 million users, a 4.5% increase in the first half of 2026. Market data indicates a positive trend, with market capitalization rising by 6.95% and trading volume increasing by 0.41% over the reporting period. The integration of traditional financial assets like stocks and bonds onto blockchain rails signals a maturing ecosystem where institutional players are increasingly leveraging distributed ledger technology for capital formation. While Harmony faces operational challenges following a network exploit, the overall RWA sector continues to gain momentum through these diverse product launches. These milestones underscore the ongoing convergence between traditional finance and decentralized infrastructure, providing investors with new avenues for asset exposure.

Crypto.com Launches the Future of Trading With Tokenized Stocks

Crypto.com has officially launched Tokenized Stocks, enabling users to gain exposure to 1,500 U.S. equities and ETFs directly through its mobile application. This new product allows for fractional investments starting at just US$1, providing 24/7 trading capabilities that bypass traditional market hours. The tokens function as derivative financial instruments that track the price performance of underlying assets like NVDA, TSLA, and AAPL, as well as commodity ETFs such as GLD and SLV. While these tokens do not grant legal ownership or shareholder rights, they offer dividend equivalent adjustments to eligible holders. The underlying assets are held in custody by Alpaca, a U.S. regulated broker-dealer that currently supports over 90% of the tokenized U.S. stock market. This launch represents a significant step in bridging traditional equity markets with blockchain-based infrastructure to enhance liquidity and accessibility. By offering instant access and fast settlement, Crypto.com aims to modernize the investment experience for users across the EEA and other approved global jurisdictions.
