About this role

About the role (from employer)

At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs.

If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value.

THE WORK:

At Ripple Treasury, we're transforming how the world's largest enterprises move, manage, and optimize liquidity. With over 40 years of treasury management expertise combined with Ripple's digital asset infrastructure, we're helping Fortune 500 CFOs and treasurers unlock idle capital and process payments in real-time, processing approximately $12.5 trillion in payment volume annually.

This is a commercial, quota-bearing role covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The renewal manager who takes it gets a portfolio of enterprise treasury customers and a quarterly target for retention and revenue growth across it. Fifteen countries, a dozen currencies, and no two renewals that look alike!

So what does a week actually look like?

Mostly customers. Reading usage and support history to work out which accounts have gone quiet. Sitting across from a procurement lead who has been told to cut vendor spend. Working out whether an account that just turned Red is worth fighting for or worth releasing cleanly. Then telling leadership, plainly, where the book is going to land.

Three things matter here: keeping customers, growing revenue where the value is real, and knowing the people well enough that a renewal is rarely a surprise.

You'll be based in London and report to the Director of Renewals & Retention.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Most of the job is renewal strategy and negotiation. Price increases, multi-year structures, module changes, and amendments. Renewal proposals that connect the price to the value the customer is actually getting, which means understanding what they use before talking about what it costs.

A good chunk is risk. Usage data, support history, corporate change, stakeholder turnover: the signals that show an account is drifting before the customer says so. Every at-risk account ends up as either a save with a named owner and a date, or a clean, well-documented walk. There is no third state.

Who do you spend the rest of the time with?

Treasury, finance and procurement leaders at some of Europe's largest enterprises, with the aim of becoming the commercial contact they call first. Business reviews are part of that, less as a presentation and more as a chance to surface problems while there is still time to fix them. Customer Success and Support are partners on account health, and Account Management gets involved whenever a renewal opens a cross-sell.

Forecasting matters more than it sounds like it should. Salesforce needs to be right, and when it isn't, fixing it is part of the work rather than someone else's problem.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Have you carried a retention number on a busy book and hit it? That's the heart of what we're looking for. Specifically:

  • Five or more years in renewals, account management, customer success or another commercial role at a B2B SaaS, FinTech or enterprise software company.
  • Experience carrying and hitting a quota, whether that was retention, renewal or new business.
  • Comfort negotiating price with procurement teams, and running deals with finance and legal in the room.
  • Experience managing a large book independently, with the discipline to know what's coming up and what needs attention now.
  • EMEA experience across several countries and currencies. Another European language helps.

Treasury, banking or payments background is a bonus rather than a requirement. We can teach the domain. What's harder to teach is knowing how to hold price without damaging a relationship, and knowing when to trade something for term instead.

Writing well matters too. A good conversation with a Group Treasurer and a follow-up email that actually gets answered turn out to be the same skill.

Sound like a book worth taking on? We'd like to hear from you!

Ripple Ends 'XRP Killer' Myth via Canton Network Support

Ripple has integrated support for the Canton Network into its Ripple Custody version 1.43 platform, enabling institutions to manage Canton Coin and CIP-56 tokens alongside existing assets. This strategic update allows banks and funds to custody assets within a private, secure environment, effectively addressing the industry-wide challenge of maintaining transaction confidentiality. By supporting Canton, Ripple positions itself as a versatile infrastructure provider rather than a competitor to the Digital Asset-developed network. This move clarifies the roles of major players in the RWA space, distinguishing between Canton's function as a private ledger for Wall Street and Ripple's role as a public liquidity bridge. The integration facilitates atomic delivery-versus-payment settlements for high-value transactions, such as those processed by Broadridge and the DTCC. This development dispels previous market narratives suggesting a direct rivalry between Ripple and Canton, favoring a collaborative division of labor instead. Ultimately, the update cements Ripple's relevance in a multichain institutional landscape by ensuring its custody solutions remain compatible with the private rails favored by major financial institutions.

Ripple President: RWA Tokenization on XRPL Could Reach US$30 Billion

Ripple President Monica Long projects that the value of real-world assets tokenized on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) will grow from approximately US$6 billion to US$30 billion in the coming phase. This growth is expected to be driven by increased institutional adoption as regulatory clarity encourages firms to transition from blockchain experimentation to full-scale infrastructure implementation. Key use cases identified for this expansion include 24-hour collateral mobility via tokenized money market funds, government bond-based repo transactions, and cross-border payments utilizing stablecoins. To facilitate this institutional shift, Ripple is enhancing XRPL with privacy controls, permissioned transaction capabilities, and simplified integration with decentralized exchanges. Furthermore, the company is developing infrastructure to support AI-driven transactions, projecting a tenfold increase in volume to 100 million transactions. Technical advancements such as Zero-Knowledge Proofs for confidential transfers are being implemented to address traditional finance requirements for transaction privacy. These strategic developments underscore Ripple's ambition to position XRPL as a primary network for institutional-grade financial services and broader blockchain utility.

XRP Seoul Event : XRPL Eyes $30B in Tokenized Real-World Assets

At the recent XRP Seoul event, Ripple President Monica Long outlined a strategic vision to scale the XRP Ledger (XRPL) as a primary hub for institutional on-chain financial infrastructure. The company is actively targeting an ambitious expansion of tokenized real-world assets on the network, aiming to grow the total value from $6 billion to $30 billion. This growth strategy focuses on integrating tokenized money market funds, treasury-backed repos, and stablecoin payment solutions to enhance 24/7 collateral mobility. To support this institutional shift, Ripple is introducing permissioned privacy features alongside new lending and yield applications powered by XRP and the upcoming RLUSD stablecoin. Furthermore, the ecosystem is preparing for a significant surge in AI agent-driven transactions, with projections rising from 10 million to 100 million. These developments underscore Ripple's commitment to positioning XRPL as a robust platform for high-volume, regulated financial activities. By bridging traditional finance with blockchain efficiency, Ripple aims to capture a larger share of the global institutional asset tokenization market.
