BIT Group and Techtanium Sign MOU to Advance Tokenized Assets and Institutional Digital Finance
On November 4, 2026, Singapore-based BIT Group and Techtanium signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance institutional digital finance and tokenized assets. The partnership combines BIT Group's established digital asset financial infrastructure, encompassing tokenization, institutional custody, and liquidity, with Techtanium's Digital Finance OS (DFOS) and banking technology. This collaboration aims to enable banks and financial institutions to access new tokenized asset classes, develop innovative financial products, and explore new business models while leveraging their existing banking infrastructure. Specifically, the initiative seeks to integrate digital assets and services into traditional banking operations, supporting the full lifecycle of tokenized assets from issuance to trading and management. This strategic alliance is crucial for the Real World Asset (RWA) market as it focuses on building the necessary institutional-grade infrastructure and connectivity to bridge conventional finance with on-chain assets, facilitating the secure and compliant adoption of tokenized real-world assets by major financial players. The goal is to expand financial offerings, including potential bank-issued tokenized deposits, without necessarily replacing core banking systems.
