Bitfinex Securities lists tokenized notes tied to Strategy, Metaplanet
Bitfinex Securities has launched five tokenized equity-backed notes on its regulated platform, providing exposure to publicly traded Bitcoin treasury companies including Strategy, Metaplanet, H100 Group, and Capital B. These notes are issued through the Luxembourg-based ORO II securitization fund managed by SICOS Securities and allow for fractional investment starting at approximately $1. Investors can trade these products against US dollars, USDT, and Bitcoin, marking the first time such equity-linked instruments have been available for secondary trading on a regulated tokenized exchange. While the notes track the economic performance of the underlying shares, they do not grant direct ownership of the companies themselves. The underlying securities are held by regulated financial institutions to ensure backing for the tokenized assets. This expansion follows a $50 million tokenized capital raise for Alkemya in August and brings the total value of assets listed on the Bitfinex Securities platform to over $500 million. The development highlights the growing trend of using blockchain infrastructure to provide retail and institutional investors with accessible, fractionalized exposure to traditional equity markets.
