Armitage, Wintermute’s onchain curation arm, selects Railnet for vault infrastructure
Armitage, the onchain vault curation arm of algorithmic trading firm Wintermute, has selected Railnet as the infrastructure provider for its new managed yield strategies. The partnership aims to bridge institutional-grade yield opportunities to fintech platforms, exchanges, and wallets by aggregating diverse yield sources under a single onchain Net Asset Value. The initial offering, WETH Yield, targets a 3–4% return by combining leveraged ETH staking with lending and private credit. Future product roadmaps include USDC Prime and USDC Select strategies, which will incorporate tokenized U.S. Treasuries and institutional credit alongside onchain lending. By leveraging Wintermute’s internal liquidation capabilities, Armitage can accept a broader range of collateral types than traditional third-party managed vaults. Railnet provides the necessary institutional controls, reporting, and cross-venue rebalancing capabilities to manage assets with varying liquidity profiles. This development is significant for the RWA market as it demonstrates how institutional liquidity providers are building scalable, compliant infrastructure to distribute complex, multi-asset yield products to retail-facing platforms.
