Barzah Capital Joins QFC Digital Assets Lab to Advance Real Estate Tokenization Model
Barzah Capital has officially joined the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Digital Assets Lab to develop and test a new real estate tokenization model. This initiative aims to create infrastructure that represents property assets as digital tokens, enabling fractional ownership for investors. As a 2025 graduate of the Qatar FinTech Hub Pre-Acceleration programme and a portfolio company of Qatar Development Bank, Barzah Capital is positioning itself to enhance liquidity and transparency within the local real estate market. By operating within the QFC’s Digital Assets Framework, the company will explore regulatory pathways and collaborate with ecosystem partners to ensure its solutions meet legal and technological standards. The project is designed to be Shariah-compliant, reflecting a strategic focus on building a trusted digital assets ecosystem in Qatar. This development aligns with the broader objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Third Financial Sector Strategic Plan. While starting with real estate, Barzah Capital intends to expand its infrastructure to support a wider range of Real World Assets in the future.
