About The Opportunity

The Core Trading Risk Product team builds the core trading infrastructure and platform-level risk capabilities that support OKX’s spot and derivatives businesses across multiple account and margin modes.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the delivery of trading risk workflow automation, agentic parameter governance, agent-driven execution, and foundational price-protection capabilities. Your scope will also include margin-tier rules, collateral haircuts, price limits, index price, and mark price across spot, derivatives, and Perp DEX scenarios.
You will work closely with Risk Management, Quantitative Research, Engineering, Data, Trading Operations, Legal, Compliance, and regional market teams to translate risk-control methodologies into configurable, verifiable, and observable platform capabilities. Success in this role means continuously improving liquidity, users’ capital efficiency, and the trading experience while safeguarding platform resilience and market integrity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive product planning and roadmap execution. Own product discovery and delivery across risk parameter governance, AI-agent workflow automation, controlled execution, and price protection. Translate risk-control needs and operating SOPs into product requirements, priorities, 3-12-month delivery plans, and success metrics; partner with engineering, risk, quant, data, and operations teams to launch, measure adoption, and iterate.
  • Research and iterate on risk-control methodologies. Research, formulate, and continuously improve risk-control methodologies, including pricing logic, risk-scoring models, and approaches for handling market volatility.
  • Build platform-level risk controls. Build and optimize platform-level risk-control mechanisms to ensure stability under extreme market conditions.
  • Drive effective implementation of risk systems. Collaborate with engineers, quants, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure risk systems are effectively implemented and continuously monitored.
  • Drive continuous improvement. Continuously improve the product through feedback loops and retrospective analysis of past market incidents or system performance.
  • Stay close to markets and users. Maintain regular communication with traders, institutional clients, and market-making teams. Continuously study crypto and traditional financial market structures, competitor mechanisms, and regulatory changes; determine when to lead and when to fast-follow; and adjust product priorities accordingly.
  • Strengthen team methodologies and AI leverage. Codify risk product methodologies, decision records, parameter dictionaries, and incident case libraries, and mentor other product managers. Design automation and AI-native workflows to improve efficiency in analysis, configuration review, monitoring and troubleshooting, documentation, and product operations..

What We Look For In You

  • Five or more years of product management experience in trading-related domains. Be familiar with trading system principles, understanding users' trading, and be able to identify risky scenarios.
  • An AI-native approach to work, with the ability to design multi-step automation or agentic workflows incorporating tool use, retrieval, evaluation, and human-review checkpoints, together with an understanding of the access-control and audit boundaries required in risk-control contexts.
  • Strong systems thinking and technical judgment, with the ability to work closely with engineering and quantitative teams on real-time, highly available, data-intensive systems and the related configuration, monitoring, resilience, and audit requirements.
  • Experience in data-driven product decision-making and risk change management, with the ability to define effective metrics and drive continuous improvement through simulation, backtesting, stress testing, production monitoring, and incident reviews.
  • Mature cross-functional leadership and project execution capabilities.
  • Rigorous logical thinking, clear written and verbal communication, and fluency in both Chinese and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams across global and Chinese-language working environments.
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or Mathematics.

Nice-To-Haves

  • A deep understanding of the trading and risk mechanisms for spot, margin, perpetuals, expiry futures, or options, with familiarity with core concepts including the order lifecycle, margin, leverage, liquidation, position tiers, index price, mark price, and price limits.
  • Experience working at a digital asset exchange, securities or futures exchange, brokerage, clearing platform, market-making firm, quantitative trading firm, or another high-throughput trading environment.
  • Experience scaling automation, AI agents, or human-in-the-loop workflows in safety-critical environments.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation package
  • L&D programs and education subsidy for employees' growth and development
  • Various team building programs and company events
  • Wellness and meal allowances
  • Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
  • More that we love to tell you along the process!

StanChart, Circle, Ripple back crypto exchange OKX at unchanged $25bn valuation

Crypto exchange OKX has secured strategic investments from Circle, Ripple, QRT, and SC Ventures at a $25 billion pre-money valuation to accelerate its expansion into real-world asset tokenization. This funding round, which extends a previous investment led by Intercontinental Exchange, aims to provide the capital necessary for OKX to scale its tokenized product offerings. The exchange has already integrated significant RWA features, including the listing of over 40 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs for non-U.S. and non-European clients. Furthermore, OKX recently announced the launch of a tokenized securities venue utilizing SEC exemptions to facilitate regulated trading. By leveraging partnerships with major financial players like Standard Chartered and Circle, OKX is positioning itself as a bridge between traditional finance and blockchain-based markets. The inclusion of Ripple and its RLUSD stablecoin further signals a strategic focus on cross-border liquidity and asset settlement. This development highlights a broader industry trend where centralized exchanges are aggressively pivoting toward institutional-grade RWA infrastructure to diversify revenue streams beyond volatile crypto assets.

The Coming Wave of Tokenized Stocks in U.S. Markets

Tokenized stock trading is emerging as a transformative force in U.S. equity markets, promising to bridge the gap between traditional finance and blockchain technology. Platforms like OKX are exploring pathways to offer tokenized equities by leveraging SEC exemption frameworks such as Regulation A+ and Regulation D. This approach aims to bypass burdensome full registration processes while maintaining the strict compliance standards required by the SEC. The integration of these assets could enable 24/7 trading and automated asset management, reflecting a broader market appetite validated by institutional interest from firms like BlackRock. However, significant challenges remain regarding custody, the management of corporate actions like dividends, and the need for robust regulatory alignment. Startups must navigate a competitive landscape against legacy exchanges while ensuring their technological infrastructure meets stringent oversight requirements. Success in this sector depends on the ability to harmonize decentralized finance liquidity with traditional regulatory mandates. Ultimately, the evolution of tokenized stocks represents a potential seismic shift in how investors access and manage equity portfolios within an integrated financial ecosystem.

OKX, NYSE Parent ICE Seek US Tokenized Stock Trading Platform, Starting With 63 Shares

OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) have formed a joint venture, OKXICE LLC, to launch a platform for trading tokenized stocks in the United States. The venture has filed paperwork with the SEC to tokenize and trade shares of 63 companies currently listed on the New York Stock Exchange. This initiative leverages a new SEC “innovation exemption” that permits blockchain-based securities to trade under specific regulatory conditions, including a 30-day issuer objection period. By combining OKX’s blockchain infrastructure with ICE’s market technology, the platform aims to enable 24-hour global stock trading while maintaining standard shareholder rights like dividends and voting. This move represents a significant institutional push to modernize equity markets through smart contracts and liquidity pools. The development signals a shift in the US regulatory landscape, potentially intensifying competition among firms seeking to bridge traditional finance with distributed ledger technology. As one of the first entities to utilize this new SEC framework, OKXICE sets a precedent for how legacy exchanges and crypto-native firms can collaborate on regulated RWA products.
