Ondo Finance has appointed Adam Schlisman, formerly of Blockchain.com and Monashee Investment Management, as its new Chief Financial Officer to oversee the firm's expanding financial operations. This strategic hire follows a period of significant growth for the platform, which now manages over $3.5 billion in assets across its tokenized U.S. Treasuries and stock products. Schlisman’s arrival coincides with Ondo’s transition from early-stage adoption toward institutional-scale operations, highlighted by its Ondo Stocks product recently surpassing $1 billion in total value locked. The company, founded by former Goldman Sachs executives, currently operates across the Solana, Ethereum, and BNB Chain networks. By integrating with major infrastructure providers like the DTCC and various global custodians, Ondo aims to solidify its position in the rapidly evolving onchain capital markets. This leadership expansion reflects a broader industry trend where traditional financial expertise is being integrated into crypto-native firms to support the migration of traditional assets onto blockchain rails. The move also follows reports that the firm is evaluating potential acquisitions valued between $250 million and $500 million to further scale its infrastructure.
Ondo Finance is a platform that tokenizes traditional financial assets, such as U.S. Treasuries and equities, to make them accessible on public blockchains. By leveraging blockchain technology, the protocol aims to provide 24/7 trading, faster settlement times, and increased liquidity for institutional and retail investors. It operates as a bridge between traditional finance and decentralized ecosystems.
