Solana’s Tokenized Equity Market Grows to $455 Million in a Year

Solana's tokenized equity market experienced significant growth over the past year, surging from $63 million to $455 million. This sevenfold increase highlights the network's expanding role in the real-world asset sector, with platforms like xStocks serving as primary drivers of activity. Beyond equities, over $65 million in tokenized assets are currently utilized to generate yield, while protocols like Kamino and Jupiter Lend enable users to leverage these tokens as collateral. The broader Solana RWA ecosystem has seen its total value climb from $700 million to $4.3 billion during this period. This rapid expansion has allowed Solana to capture a larger share of the market, now representing 26% of Ethereum's RWA value compared to just 4.5% a year ago. The ecosystem's diversification includes U.S. Treasury debt, reinsurance via OnRe’s ONyc, and asset-backed credit through providers like Hastra and Maple Finance. This growth trajectory underscores the increasing institutional and retail appetite for on-chain financial products beyond the Ethereum mainnet.
