Koscom to showcase tokenized securities platform at Korea Fintech Week 2026

South Korean financial technology firm Koscom is set to showcase its shared tokenized securities platform at Korea Fintech Week 2026, highlighting its readiness for the nation's upcoming regulatory framework. The platform, developed in collaboration with LG CNS, facilitates securities issuance, account management, and system integration for financial institutions. Koscom has already secured memorandums of understanding with 13 securities firms to support their entry into the tokenized market. This development aligns with the Financial Services Commission's new rules for tokenized stocks, bonds, and funds, which are scheduled to take effect on February 4, 2027. The initiative reflects a broader trend in South Korea, where major players like Hanwha Investment & Securities, KB Securities, and Meritz Securities are actively building blockchain-based infrastructure. By providing a centralized testing and issuance environment, Koscom aims to standardize the transition for domestic brokerages.
