Prometheum Inc. and Federated Hermes have entered a strategic partnership to distribute tokenized securities through Prometheum’s SEC-registered and FINRA-member broker-dealer infrastructure. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between traditional brokerage systems and digital asset markets by allowing Federated Hermes to offer tokenized funds to U.S. investors via established intermediaries. Prometheum Capital will handle custody, clearing, and settlement, while ProFinancial will support the distribution of these products. The initiative seeks to move tokenized assets beyond crypto-native platforms and into the mainstream brokerage accounts where most Americans currently hold their investments. By leveraging Prometheum’s regulated framework, the firms intend to provide on-chain access to traditional investment strategies with institutional-grade operational rigor. The companies have announced a target date of Q1 2027 to bring their first tokenized fund product to market. This partnership represents a significant effort to integrate digital securities into the broader financial ecosystem through compliant, regulated channels.
