Pineapple Financial puts $1B in mortgage records on Injective

Pineapple Financial has successfully migrated over $1 billion in residential mortgage records onto the Injective blockchain, marking a significant step in its initiative to digitize its historical loan portfolio. The company plans to eventually move more than 29,000 funded mortgages, totaling over $10 billion in value, onto the network to enhance transparency and auditability. Each mortgage is represented by an onchain record containing over 500 data points, facilitating improved risk analysis and verification processes. Unlike traditional tokenization that repackages assets into securities, these records serve as immutable digital representations of the underlying loan files. The project has seen steady growth, with the number of onchain mortgage records increasing from 1,259 in December 2025 to 2,079 currently. Additionally, Pineapple Financial maintains a $100 million Injective digital asset treasury, with Kraken acting as a primary validator for its staked holdings. This development highlights the broader industry trend of leveraging blockchain technology to bring traditionally illiquid real estate and mortgage data into a more accessible and efficient digital environment.
