BNB Chain has emerged as the leader in the tokenized equity market, capturing nearly 50% of the total $2.9 billion supply as of late August. This surge was primarily driven by the launch of bStocks, which propelled BNB Chain's tokenized equity value from under $500 million to over $1.3 billion since June. In comparison, Ethereum holds approximately $800 million, while Solana and Avalanche maintain $550 million and $170 million respectively. The bStocks platform currently supports over 67 active assets and has facilitated more than $19 billion in trading volume, highlighting high liquidity and active circulation. These tokenized equities offer distinct advantages over traditional shares, including 24/7 settlement and on-chain composability. Despite this dominance in equities, BNB Chain accounts for 15% of the broader $38.4 billion RWA market, trailing Ethereum's 45% share. To challenge Ethereum's overall leadership, BNB Chain must diversify its RWA offerings beyond equities into asset classes like Treasuries and funds.
